FULL LENGTH TOUR DESCRIPTION
The Taj Mahal, an amazing architectural wonder of the world, is at the heart and soul of every visitor's sojourn to India. Today you have the opportunity to visit this marvel on a full day trip from Mumbai.

From the pier, proceed to the airport and board a chartered flight that whisks you from Mumbai to Agra, with breakfast served on board. Once in Agra, head to the Taj Mahal, the white marble memorial built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal. This monument took 22 years to complete, and was designed and planned by Persian architect Ustad Isa. Apart from its stunning design balance and perfect symmetry, the Taj is also noted particularly for its elegant domes, intricately carved screens and the finest inlay work known to man. After your visit to the Taj, you will proceed to a nearby hotel for an elaborate buffet lunch.

Afterwards, take an optional visit to Agra Fort or spend some time shopping. Agra Fort, built by the famed Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565, is also called the Red Fort as it is predominantly made of red sand stone. The vast halls echo the voices of a bygone era and transport the visitor back in time. Ensconced within is the picture-perfect Pearl Mosque.
End your tour with a transfer to the airport and a private chartered flight back to Mumbai, with light refreshments served on board.
