A 9-hour shore excursion to Rome, featuring a fun cooking class.
Highlights: Castel Sant'Angelo, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona
Upon arrival at Civitavecchia port, meet your English-speaking driver and private vehicle for a full-day excursion (up to 9 hours) of Rome.
Once in Rome you will meet your local English speaking guide and enjoy a short orientation tour of the city before heading to a local Pizzeria, where you will take a fun pizza-making class. You will prepare the dough, learning of the various aspects as you go from recommend flour and dough rising times, to the toppings and cooking process required for the perfect pie! After your lesson, enjoy the fruits of your labor after which you’ll be presented with a cooking manual, apron, and diploma!
Your tour will also include some of the lovely monuments from Rome's Classical past, such as Castel Sant'Angelo, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. After your tour you will be returned to your ship at the Civitavecchia port.
