A welcome at Queenstown Airport and transfer to the scenic delights of Wanaka. Settle into your alpine lodge. Whare Kea Lodge is a private alpine haven nestled amongst the mountains of New Zealand's spectacular Southern Alps. Supremely peaceful, Whare Kea Lodge is situated on 70 acres of private farmland with direct access to Lake Wanaka.

Start the day with a luxury ‘offroad’ adventure with exclusive access to Glendene High Country Station. This spectacular 20,000 acre station is on the shores of Lake Hawea and has stunning panoramic views of the lake, mountains and tussock clad hills. See the daily operation of a working station stocked with wild trophy deer, goats and merino sheep. After a delicious picnic lunch, continue north around the shores of Lake Hawea to Makarora, the gateway to Haast Pass. Enjoy a short walk through native bush to the stunning Blue Pools, located within the Mount Aspiring National Park.

A morning at leisure. Additonal options could include fishing on the lake, kayaking, a scenic helicopter flight or opt for hitting the slopes; skiing or snowboarding (Jun – Oct). Later, re-join your local guide for a winery tour tailor-made with your taste buds in mind. Travel to Cromwell and Bannockburn, the heart of Pinot Noir country for guided tours through a selection of boutique wineries.
