 Today meet your local English-speaking guide and private vehicle for a full day (8 hours) sightseeing tour to Eze, Nice and St Paul de Vence.

 This morning drive up to the famous ‘Moyenne Corniche’ road and visit the village of Eze perched dramatically on a cliff top 1,000’ above the sea, and known as one of the “Eagle’s Nest” villages. You wander the charming, cobbled medieval lanes filled with artisan shops and restaurants, and admire a splendid panorama of the Riviera coastline below, perhaps having a coffee on the terrace of the Chevre d’Or restaurant which affords the best view.

 Later drive into Nice and explore the fascinating Old Town. Nice is home to an extensive food and flower market (except on Monday when a fascinating  antiques market takes its place), and you local guide will be pleased to show you all the different products grown in the region, and the various dishes that are made from them. Taste perhaps some ‘socca’ made from chickpeas, a ‘pan bagnat’, basically a salade niçoise in a bread.
