A 9-day private tour showcasing the historical and cultural highlights of Paris and the Loire Valley during the Fête de la Musique.

Arrive Paris
Upon arrival at Paris airport you will be welcomed to France by your local Guardian Angel as you exit customs into the arrivals hall, and transferred to your hotel where you will be assisted with check-in procedures.
You will be confirmed for 5 nights at the Relais Christine.

Paris
Today you will enjoy a half day (4 hours) sightseeing tour in Paris with your private vehicle and English-speaking guide. This overview tour will include famous Parisian sights such as the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysées and the Ile de la Cité, where you will visit the beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral and see the Sainte Chapelle, a pearl of Gothic architecture.
The rest of the day is at leisure.

Today you will enjoy a half day (4 hours) sightseeing in Paris to include the world-famous Louvre Museum. Originally the Royal residence of the Kings of France, the sprawling Louvre palace contains one of the most important art collections in the Western world, spanning from remotest antiquity to the mid 19th cent, with the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo as perhaps its two most famous exhibits, and the upturned glass pyramid by I.M.Pei at the entrance adding a contemporary touch.

This afternoon and this evening your Guardian Angel and private vehicle will be at your disposal to enjoy the free events at the Fête de la Musique. The annual street music festival takes place in Paris where musicians gather in the open air or public buildings to give free performances. Visitors can enjoy concerts of all styles, from classic and jazz to pop and contemporary (as this event is held on specific dates we have included it to give you an illustration of the type of inclusions/events we can offer, if you have clients who are travelling at a different time of year but want a similar itinerary please do contact us to discuss the options).

Versailles
Today you will enjoy a half day (5 hours) sightseeing tour to Versailles with your private vehicle and English-speaking guide. You will drive out to Versailles to admire the huge palace of the great Sun King Louis XIV, visiting the State Apartments and decorative gardens.

Paris - Onzain
You will be met this morning by your private vehicle and English-speaking driver-guide for your transfer to Onzain. You will drive to Rambouillet to visit the Chateau surrounded by forests and an extensive park. Continue to Chartres where you will see the magnificent Gothic cathedral with its world-famous stained glass windows, before arriving at your hotel.
You will be confirmed for 2 nights at the Domaine des Hauts de Loire.

Loire Valley
This morning you will meet your English-speaking driver-guide for a full-day (8 hours) sightseeing tour in the Loire Valley by private vehicle. Visit the Chateau de Chenonceau that straddles the river and is one of the best-known Chateaux of the Loire region. Continuing on to Amboise you will visit the Clos Lucé, a handsome Renaissance manor where Leonardo da Vinci spent the last four years of his life. The museum contains working models of some of da Vinci's inventions. This afternoon enjoy the Chateau d'Ussé, sometimes described as the original "Sleeping Beauty Castle", and the 16th-century chapel in the garden.

Onzain - Paris
Spend the morning at leisure, relaxing and enjoying the facilities at your hotel. This afternoon you will be privately transferred to your hotel at Charles de Gaulle Airport for the last night of your tour.
