DAY 1

Dar es Salaam - Selous

Fly from Dar es Salaam to Selous Game Reserve. On arrival you will be picked up by the camp vehicle and transferred to the camp. 

At 21,000 sq mi, Selous is the largest game reserve in Africa. It is four times the size of the Serengeti and larger than the size of Switzerland! Located in the unspoiled southern region of Tanzania, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to the country's greatest population of elephants.

DAY 2

Selous

Today enjoy a full day of thrilling game drives. Selous' landscape is one that is characterized by rolling grass woodlands and plains, rocky outcrops, volcanic hot springs as well as a network of lakes, lagoons and channels. Along the Rufiji River which is the lifeblood of the park, an array of grazing antelopes, cheetah, giraffe, crocodiles, hippos among many other species can be spotted.

DAY 3

Selous

Enjoy full day in the Selous where various activities are available. The Selous is special because of the unique activities offered that are not available at any other parks in Tanzania. Some of these include boat game viewing, fishing and walking safaris. Due to its remote nature, few safaris take place in the park and guests can have this massive wilderness all to themselves.

Selous - Dar es Salaam

After breakfast you will be transferred to the nearby airstrip for your schedule flight to Dar Es Salaam.
