Kasbah Tamadot

Atlas Mountains

Hotel overview

The idyllic location of the Kasbah Tamadot in the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains creates an immense sense of privacy for a unique rest.

Types of Rooms

This property is the former home of Luciano Tempo who filled it with beautiful antiques of Arabic origin, as well as from India and the Far East. These exquisite artifacts can be purchased from the Kasbah.
The Kasbah was then purchased by Sir Richard Branson in 1998 and wonderfully restored to become one of the most luxury properties in Morocco. Kasbah Tamadot is full of peaceful courtyards, hidden staircases, landscaped gardens and breathtaking views. Local Berber staff from the surrounding villages are employed here, giving you a real sense of staying in a Moroccan home rather than a hotel.

Luxury rooms and suites are all individually decorated using traditional Moroccan furnishings and antiques whilst the restaurant, bars and outdoor infinity pool offer panoramic views.

Midway between the two traditional Berber villages, Asni and Imlil, a journey to this Kasbah means that Berber life is available to be discovered through day expeditions that can be organised from the property.

Our thoughts…
Unique, peaceful and comfortable. If you are looking for romantic privacy with fabulous food, excellent service and spacious bedrooms with spectacular views then Kasbah Tamadot is the best hotel to choose. The Berber Tented Suite is my favourite, with its own private jacuzzi and fantastic views of the Atlas Mountains that make it into a truly unique experience.
