Galapagos Safari Camp

Galapagos Hotels

Hotel overview

Galapagos Safari Camp is a stunning alternative or addition to a cruise-based itinerary. The views are unmatched, and the camp is based right in the middle of the transition zone on Santa Cruz Island. This is a perfect destination for someone looking to unwind after a Galapagos cruise or those who want the opportunity to view flora and fauna from a stylish eco-property.
It’s not all about relaxation though, as the camp provides easy access to Galapagos National Park and many activities are easily arranged. The Galapagos Safari Camp is unlike anything else currently offered in the islands.

Types of Rooms

Tents
Nine luxury tents are located closely below the central lodge. They are erected above the ground on wooden platforms and are sheltered by three protective layers, one specifically for the sun, another one for the rain and an inner sealed canvass shell forms the bedrooms. Their interiors are comfortable and spacious (27sqm). The custom-made furniture was designed with comfort, practicality and elegance in mind. Twin beds join to become one comfortable queen and there are cupboards, a writing desk, and a fan/heater for temperature control. You can also add a sofa bed for children under 12. The en-suite bathrooms are tastefully designed with hot power showers and flush toilets. All tents have a large balcony with a hammock and chairs from which to take in the enchanting view.

Family Suite
The three bedroom suite sleeps six comfortably with a king bed master bedroom and two additional twin bed rooms, each with their own bathroom. The three bedrooms are interconnected but can also be accessed via their own private doors from the exterior wraparound porch. The master bath has a deep soaking tub, double sinks, separate shower and separate toilet. The two additional bedrooms also have their own half baths. Additional amenities of the Family Suite at Galapagos Safari Camp include an enormous wraparound porch with the most amazing views found anywhere on our property and a downstairs family/play room stocked with children's toys, books and games. The Family Suite is located directly adjacent to the main lodge building and is ideal for families of up to 6 looking for a space of their own, or for families travelling with younger children who are uneasy about the separation between the tents. Meals are still provided in the main lodge building, but if requested, special family dinners can be enjoyed on the private Family Suite balcony.
