Hotel overview
Located in the southern coastal town of Weligama, this resort is nestled into the natural slopes atop Weligama's striking headland. The resort has been designed to resemble a traditional Sri Lankan village and offers 39 bedrooms in total in private villas and suites. Cape Weligama Resort offers a crescent-shaped infinity pool curving 60m around the Cape's summit, cove pool close to the villas, bar, gym, electric buggies, dive center, in-room spa and butler service. There are different restaurants offering fresh, local produce. The menus include seafood, Sri Lankan food, Japanese food and Ceylon afternoon cream tea.
Types of Rooms
The Villas are set within eight stone ringed tropical gardens in the upper part of the resort. Each garden comprises two to three freestanding Villas with a 15-metre infinity pool. The Suites are situated around the cove pool in units of four, in the lower part of the resort with partial sea views. They are especially well suited for families or friends traveling together with the added amenities and activities of a five-star resort.
